Be a vital part of IMP Aerospace and Defence as a Senior Avionics Technician, specializing in the Cormorant Helicopter. This role encompasses hands-on maintenance of electrical systems and avionics. In this impactful position, you'll engage in first and second line aircraft maintenance, focusing on Cormorant Helicopter operations for Canadian Search and Rescue. Responsibilities include inspecting, repairing, and certifying aircraft systems. A commitment to safety and compliance with policies is paramount while you support critical missions. Key Responsibilities:
- Execute first and second level avionics maintenance tasks
- Perform pre/post flight inspections and marshalling duties
- Conduct defect resolution using BITE test results
- Participate in training for continuous professional development
- Keep hangar and workspace clean and free of debris
- Completion of an recognized aircraft maintenance course
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in aviation maintenance
- Familiarity with aircraft systems and maintenance manuals
- Valid Class 5 Drivers License
- Eligible for Secret Level II Security Clearance
