Senior SAP Developer - Finance Automation On behalf of our Software client, Procom is searching for a Senior SAP Developer - Finance Automation for a permanent role. This position is a hybrid position with 2-3 days a week on-site in Markham, ON. Senior SAP Developer - Finance Automation - Job Description: Seeking a Senior SAP Developer to join their growing Finance Automation product line. This role involves developing new functionalities and enhancing existing features to streamline financial operations through intelligent, cloud-native automation. Senior SAP Developer - Finance Automation - Responsibilities: • Partner with product management to define, design, and implement new functionality and services in client's SaaS Finance Automation solution. • Support and improve existing functionality, working closely with stakeholders such as Support and Professional Services. • Prototype new solutions and capabilities for our growing Financial product line. • Provide technical mentorship to your colleagues. • Work on complex higher-level projects. • Analyze and resolve intricate technical challenges and contribute to the successful integration and customization of key client accounts. • Be a key contributor on a globally diverse agile engineering team. Senior SAP Developer - Finance Automation - Mandatory Skills: • Extensive development experience with SAP FI (Finance Module), Finance transactions, transaction codes, and company codes. • Strong experience developing, maintaining, and debugging complex ABAP code. • Experience building SAP Add-Ons using SAINT transactions and working with piece lists. • Experience with SAP Basis, SAP Architecture, and SAP Security. • Experience with version control (Git) and collaboration tools such as JIRA, TFS. • Experience with Agile Scrum development methodologies. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Senior SAP Developer - Finance Automation – Nice-to-Have Skills: • Full stack development experience using Java/C/C++ or equivalent high-order programming language. • Experience with SQL and relational databases. • Familiarity with modern UI frameworks such as ReactJS, Mobx, and TypeScript. • Proficiency writing automated unit and integration tests using frameworks such as PlayWright, Cypress, or Selenium. • Experience with AI coding concepts, Co-Pilot, and Agentic AI tooling. Senior SAP Developer - Finance Automation – Assignment Length: This is a full-time permanent position. Senior SAP Developer - Finance Automation - Hybrid: 2-3 days a week on-site.
