Lead service workflow and customer communication at Ottawa RV Truck & Trailer, coordinating four bays and four technicians across daily operations.
As Service & Operations Manager, you will own the facility's operation from intake through delivery. Your focus includes scheduling, parts coordination, work orders, billing, customer updates, and shop financial performance. You will work alongside the Shop Foreman, who oversees technicians and repair quality, while you keep jobs organized, staged, and moving efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan incoming work across four bays and four technicians
- Prioritize jobs using urgency, parts, and capacity
- Open, manage, and close work orders
- Order and track parts for active jobs
- Provide quotes, updates, and realistic timelines
Requirements:
- Experience in service operations, shop management, or service advising
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Mechanical understanding of commercial trucks and trailers
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Financial awareness of labour, parts, and gross profit
