Join Northern Lights Public Schools as a full-time Math and Science Teacher in the beautiful Lac La Biche area. Foster a supportive, engaging classroom where students thrive and excel. This position is for a dedicated Outreach Teacher commencing in the 2026-2027 school year. Your role will focus on developing individualized learning programs for grades 10 to 12, considering each student's holistic needs. You'll work collaboratively with a professional learning community to create a welcoming environment that prioritizes student success and well-being. Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure effective planning and assessment of student learning
- Create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment
- Foster positive interactions with students and parents
- Collaborate with staff to achieve educational goals
- Build strong relationships within the school community
- Valid Alberta Teaching Certificate required
- Experience teaching Math and Science is an asset
- Ability to meet Alberta Education’s Teaching Quality Standards
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Commitment to ongoing professional growth
