Domtar is seeking a reliable Industrial Labourer for its Atikokan Sawmill. This full-time permanent role emphasizes safety and operational excellence in a collaborative work environment. As an Entry Level Mill Operator, you will handle equipment operation and ensure product meets quality standards while adhering to safety practices. This physically demanding role includes repetitive tasks such as lifting materials and maintaining cleanliness in your work area, while you grow within a supportive structure. Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate and monitor manufacturing equipment
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Comply with quality control measures for products
- Lift heavy items and perform manual tasks effectively
- Collaborate to exceed operational expectations
- Completion of Grade 12 education or equivalent
- Experience in manufacturing or similar environments is beneficial
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate
- Reliable transport to and from the Atikokan location
