This Senior Software Engineer role focuses on backend applications, APIs, and maintainable code. Design reliable Python and Django backend services and APIsArchitect scalable solutions for high traffic and data volumesDevelop user-facing elements with server-side logicWrite unit and integration tests for robust codeOptimize applications and address performance bottlenecks and bugsRequirements:
Six-plus years of professional software development experienceProven backend application expertise using DjangoDeep knowledge of relational databases and ORM technologiesExperience designing and consuming RESTful APIsDegree or equivalent practical experience in a related fieldUse Python, Django, scalable architecture, and API expertise to shape dependable backend platforms from anywhere in South Africa.
