Job Title We are seeking a skilled Baker to join our Pastry Team at a Relais & Châteaux property on Vancouver Island's stunning West Coast. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and bake a wide range of products, including bread, pastries, cakes, cookies, and more. Follow recipes and production schedules to ensure timely and consistent output. Measure and mix ingredients accurately. Operate and maintain baking equipment and tools. Ensure all baked goods meet our quality standards for taste, texture, and appearance. Maintain a clean and organized workspace. Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines. Passion about their craft, love food, and fresh ingredients. Detail-oriented, thrive in a fast-paced working environment, and have strong organizational skills. Culinary school diploma or relevant certification is an asset, as well as previous experience in a fine dining establishment or similar. Benefits: Competitive hourly rate of $20.00 per hour, paid overtime, and shared accommodation available for eligible candidates.
