Lead General Merchandise and Fashion operations at Walmart in Fort St. John, using customer service and associate coordination skills daily.
This General Merchandise Department Lead assists the Assistant Manager and Store Management Team with department processes. The position supports task completion, merchandising presentation, Customer Availability Process activities, scheduling, and associate development. It also helps maintain safe, clean departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers politely and provide excellent service
- Promote products, locate merchandise, and support purchase decisions
- Coordinate tasks according to communicated priorities
- Assess department presentation and execute display changes
- Delegate and follow up on Customer Availability Process tasks
Requirements:
- Must be age 16 or older
- Ability to assist General Merchandise and Fashion Associates
- Ability to support scheduling and store coverage
- Ability to participate in associate training and development
- Ability to follow safety policies and procedures
Support Walmart customers and associates through department leadership, merchandising execution, task coordination, and dependable customer service.
