Collaborate with welding and engineering teams to ensure top-quality fit-ups. You will interpret technical drawings and handle materials safely while adhering to OH&S guidelines. Key Responsibilities:
- Fit and assemble components according to technical drawings
- Inspect fit-ups for dimensional accuracy and quality
- Safely operate tools and material handling equipment
- Maintain workplace safety and cleanliness standards
- Contribute to collaborative projects with Engineering and Quality Control
- Overhead crane certification or ability to obtain
- Forklift certification is an asset
- CWB welding tickets preferred
- 5-7 years in plate fitting or similar trade
- High school diploma or equivalent
