As a Systems Administrator, you will play a key role in maintaining, implementing, and supporting the IT hardware and systems infrastructure for our client. Administering and overseeing the IT infrastructure, including cloud-hosted servers, networks, wireless networks, communication systems, peripherals, and operating systems, ensuring stability, performance, and dependability.
Managing Microsoft 365 and related cloud services to guarantee smooth functionality for users across the organization.
Assisting with the setup, installation, and maintenance of hardware and telecommunications systems such as PCs, servers, VOIP systems, routers, and switches.
Implementing and updating security protocols to safeguard technology assets from both external and internal threats.
Supervising the day-to-day operations of IT systems, while providing end-user support across multiple locations.
Ensuring uptime and high performance of critical production assets in support of 24/7 manufacturing and distribution operations across various time zones.
Researching and recommending new hardware and software technologies to ensure they are compatible with the organization's current systems.
Recording issues and resolutions in a tracking system while maintaining comprehensive network and system documentation.
Assisting in monitoring and managing IT assets, ensuring accurate inventory control, and overseeing performance for lifecycle management.
Supporting the installation, maintenance, and optimization of production systems, software, and communication infrastructure.
Assisting in the development and implementation of IT policies, standards, and procedures in collaboration with technical staff and vendors.
Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and travel to other locations as needed.

A post-secondary diploma in a related field is essential.
Experience working with multi-network platforms, multi-application systems, cloud technology, ERP systems, and Microsoft applications in a multi-site environment.
Experience with Microsoft SQL is an asset.
