Drive product compliance as a Quality Engineer at Latecoere. This role emphasizes adherence to aerospace standards and effective collaboration with cross-functional teams for timely delivery and quality assurance. The Quality Engineer is pivotal in ensuring adherence to Latecoere's Quality Management System. Supporting Production, Manufacturing Engineering, and Quality teams, you’ll address non-conformance management, perform root cause analysis, and monitor quality performance. This position directly influences product quality on aerospace and defense projects through rigorous inspections and compliance checks. Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with engineering specifications and quality standards
- Support production with daily Quality Engineering tasks
- Review and verify inspection documentation for completeness
- Implement effective controls to prevent defects
- Monitor quality trends to identify improvement opportunities
- Bachelor’s in Quality, Aerospace, or Mechanical Engineering
- 2-3 years of relevant quality engineering experience
- Familiarity with AS9100 and aerospace standards
- Hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
