Launch your career with Magellan Aerospace as an Operations Excellence Co-op Student in Mississauga. Use your technical skills to drive process improvements and operational efficiency. This is an 8 to 12-month co-op position aimed at third-year students in mechanical, mechatronics, or industrial engineering. You will engage with the ops team, work on automation projects, and contribute to operational excellence initiatives across the organization. Be a part of a collaborative environment while enhancing your engineering understanding. Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze manufacturing processes for improvement opportunities
- Collaborate with engineering to implement solutions
- Document and finalize revised work instructions
- Facilitate cross-functional training to eliminate failures
- Track and present key performance indicators
- Minimum 3rd year co-op student in engineering
- Previous aerospace manufacturing co-op experience preferred
- Creative thinker with strong organizational skills
- Proficient in SolidEdge and Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
