Step into the role of Class G Moving Driver with Traditional Moving and Storage in Thunder Bay. This position involves leading delivery teams while providing high-quality customer service. As a Class G Moving Driver, you’ll be responsible for supervising the safe delivery of office and household items. Your strong interpersonal skills will enhance the customer experience, while your ability to drive responsibly under various conditions is essential. Experience in household moving operations is highly valued in this role. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee loading/unloading of furniture and equipment
- Safely operate delivery trucks across assigned routes
- Keep communication open with dispatch for updates
- Fill out necessary paperwork for logistics and payments
- Adhere to safety protocols while on the job
- Valid Ontario Class G license in excellent standing
- Solid interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindset
- Experience in household moving and leading teams
- Ability to handle physical demands of the job
- Comfortable driving in adverse weather conditions
