Design municipal infrastructure with WSP using AutoCAD Civil 3D, while combining technical design with field review responsibilities across projects.
As a Civil Engineering-in-Training, you will support roadways, water distribution systems, sanitary sewers, stormwater facilities, and land development projects. You will work with project managers, clients, contractors, and senior engineers throughout project delivery. The position develops experience in design, documentation, construction review, and municipal approvals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare municipal drawings, plans, profiles, and construction documents
- Perform hydraulic, grading, stormwater, and earthwork calculations
- Prepare reports, memoranda, and permit applications
- Conduct field reviews and document site progress
- Witness quality assurance testing and record deficiencies
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution
- Eligible for or registered as an Engineer-in-Training
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of municipal engineering design principles
- Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle
