As a Senior Mechanical Technologist, you will guide drawing standards and mentor technologists and drafters. You will work with engineers, architects, and in-house electrical, structural, and fire protection teams. Design Works Engineering delivers projects across Alberta and Canada, including HVAC, plumbing, and drainage systems.
Key Responsibilities
Lead mechanical models through issued-for-construction drawing setsModel ductwork, piping, plumbing, and equipment in Revit and AutoCADTranslate engineering sketches and calculations into buildable drawingsCoordinate disciplines to identify clashes before constructionMaintain templates, details, and mechanical QA/QC standardsRequirements: Diploma in mechanical engineering technologyEight-plus years designing buildings mechanicallyAdvanced Revit and AutoCAD skillsHVAC, plumbing, and drainage layout experienceAlberta mechanical drawing code knowledgeBring senior drafting, modelling, coordination, and mentoring experience to Design Works Engineering’s Calgary mechanical team. #J-18808-Ljbffr
