Apply electrical expertise as a Field Service Technician supporting UPS systems across Fort McMurray and Alberta customer sites. Travel locally and overnight as required.
This Electrical division technician performs emergency and preventive maintenance, installations, servicing, and repairs. The work includes technical support for system equipment, customer contact, and field or in-house assignments. Candidates need electrical, electronics, engineering technology, or Red Seal credentials, plus relevant experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform emergency and preventive maintenance on a 24/7 on-call basis
- Install company products across regional customer sites
- Service and repair products on-site or in-house
- Provide technical support for operational and maintenance questions
- Address technical and service-related customer problems
Requirements:
- Electrical, electronics, or engineering technology diploma or degree
- Red Seal 309A Interprovincial Journeyman Electrician certification accepted
- One year of UPS, battery, or electronics experience
- Valid unrestricted driver's license and Canadian work authorization
- Ability to travel to the United States for training
Use electrical knowledge, UPS experience, and customer support skills as a regional Field Service Technician in Alberta.
