Diagnose truck and trailer mechanical problems as a Heavy Duty Journeyman Technician in Grande Prairie, Alberta. Repair engines, drivelines, and components.
Brandt Truck & Trailer seeks a Heavy Duty Journeyman Technician for full-time mechanical repair and maintenance work. The position supports CVIP inspections, diagnoses repair needs, and addresses major and minor mechanical issues. Candidates bring technical training, drivetrain and air-system diagnostic experience, communication skills, and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Journeyman team with CVIP inspections
- Troubleshoot major and minor mechanical problems
- Repair and adjust mechanical components
- Complete written and oral work orders
- Repair truck drivelines, engines, and necessary components
Requirements:
- College or vocational technical training completion
- At least one year as a heavy duty mechanic apprentice
- Driveline and air-system schematics and diagnostic experience
- Valid driver's license
- Verbal and written communication with strong attention to detail
