Provide resident care as a Personal Support Worker at Generations Toronto, supporting care plans and safety across part-time shifts in Toronto.
Generations Toronto is recruiting a Personal Support Worker for its 122-bed Ismaili Ethnocultural Designated Long-Term Care Home. The role provides care according to resident care plans and assists with identifying needs. AgeCare manages the long-term care home on behalf of Generations Toronto.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide resident care according to established care plans
- Observe residents and report findings to supervisors
- Assist with documenting resident care information
- Attend education sessions, meetings, and workshops
- Follow infection prevention and control policies
Requirements:
- Personal Support Worker certificate or diploma
- Meet Ministry of Training vocational standards
- Meet National Association of Career Colleges standards
- Meet Ontario Community Support Association standards
- Know bedside care, sanitation, and geriatric resident needs
Support long-term care residents through compassionate personal care, observation, documentation, and infection prevention practices at Generations Toronto.
