Join Peter Ballantyne Child & Family Services as a Full Time Group Home Worker in Pelican Narrows. Ensure children have a supportive and structured living environment along with emotional care. In this critical role, you will provide daily caregiving to children and youth, fostering a nurturing atmosphere and promoting healthy values. Your responsibilities also include monitoring activities, maintaining high care standards, and keeping detailed logs. Assisting with transportation to events and appointments is essential, as is your active participation in group home operations. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day childcare and base parenting duties
- Monitor resident activities and maintain daily logs
- Ensure high standards of care for children and families
- Facilitate understanding of program values for youth
- Transport children to appointments and outings
- Minimum Grade 12 or GED 12
- Certificate in Social Work or equivalent experience
- Proven maturity and commitment to child safety
- Willingness to work shifts, including weekends
- Excellent communication skills and valid driver’s license
