Drive digital transformation as a Senior Data Analyst at Weir Canada, located in LaSalle, QC. This full-time role emphasizes creating effective data models for the Defence sector. In this key position, you will be responsible for supporting the Digital Engineering, Modeling and Simulation (DEM&S) ecosystem for defence acquisition clients. Collaboration with systems engineers and stakeholders is crucial for effective data integration. Your work will ensure compliance with industry standards and enable robust data flow to support operational environments. Key Responsibilities:
- Design data models and governance frameworks for complex systems
- Implement digital threads for data flow across environments
- Maintain rigorous data format and exchange standards
- Collaborate with technical teams to identify integration issues
- Provide expertise in data management and sustainability
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant diploma in IT/IM
- Minimum five years of experience in data modeling
- Proven track record with data exchange solutions
- Advanced proficiency in data protocols like XML and APIs
- Eligibility for Government of Canada security clearance
