Reporting directly to the Director of Finance, you will be responsible for managing the financial performance of multiple commercial construction projects from start-up through closeout.ResponsibilitiesPrepare and submit monthly progress draws, coordinating the full billing processManage project accounts receivable and payable, including receipt tracking and payment coordinationReview and code project costs to ensure accurate and timely financial reportingReview and process subcontractor billings, ensuring compliance with contract requirementsMaintain and manage trade partner compliance documentationCommunicate regularly with Project Managers, subtrades, suppliers, and internal teamsPrepare monthly project cost reports, budget reconciliations, and variance analysisAssist with project cost and revenue forecastingSupport substantial completion and project close-out activitiesQualifications5+ years of project accounting experience in commercial constructionStrong working knowledge of construction accounting principles and the Builders Lien ActProcore experience is required (must-have)High attention to detail with strong organizational and time-management skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and competing prioritiesStrong written and verbal communication skillsPost-secondary education in accounting or finance would be an assetExperience with Acumatica would be an assetThe Kind of Person You AreDriven and accountable, with a strong sense of ownershipOrganized and detail-oriented, with the ability to stay on top of deadlinesPersonable and collaborative, able to build strong working relationshipsProactive and solution-focused, always looking for better ways to do thingsComfortable in a dynamic construction environmentBenefitsCompensation + PerksAnnual salary: $75,000-$90,000, commensurate with experienceComprehensive benefit planProfit sharing / incentive programFlexible work hoursHybrid Work - 4 Days in Office / 1 Day from HomeState-of-the-art office, technology, and softwareTeam lounge with ping pong tableSpecialty coffee machineRegular staff lunchesAnnual offsite staff retreat #J-18808-Ljbffr
