Position Summary The Medical Radiation Technologist (MRT) is a regulated health professional working under indirect supervision performing various diagnostic imaging procedures. The MRT uses their extensive knowledge, skill and judgement in the principles of anatomy, physiology and pathology, as well as imaging acquisition to provide high quality care to their patients. MRTs with WRHN act as mentors and preceptors to medical imaging students from several accredited programs. May support several modalities based on their knowledge and skills. Must be able to demonstrate effective problem solving skills while participating in a team-building environment. Contributes to ensuring there is a safe environment for patients, staff and visitors.
