Senior Remediation Project Manager (Insurance Services)Join to apply for the Senior Remediation Project Manager (Insurance Services) role at Pinchin in CanadaSenior Remediation Project Manager (Insurance Services)4 weeks ago Be among the first 25 applicantsJoin to apply for the Senior Remediation Project Manager (Insurance Services) role at Pinchin in CanadaGet AI-powered advice on this job and more exclusive features.Senior Assessment/Remediation Project ManagerEnvironmental Due Diligence and Remediation/Insurance ServicesMississauga/Markham, ONAre you ready to apply your technical and leadership skills to the next level and contribute to Pinchin’s success?We’re looking for a bright and motivated individual, with a proven track record, to support the ongoing growth of this exciting team.As the ideal candidate, you are excited by the opportunity to manage your own client portfolio and provide effective leadership to your project team.The ideal candidate will be performing project management and senior review to related to the wide degree of technical work our Insurance Services Teams gets involved in, including but not limited to: spills management, subsurface investigation to determine extent of environmental contaminants, remedial planning and implementation, environmental forensics, litigation support and peer review.As a senior practitioner, you will be involved in staff development including training, and coordination and quality control for junior and intermediate staff in the Group.A Day in the life of Senior Assessment/Remediation Project Manager at PinchinManage or provide technical support on spills, investigations and remediation projects across Ontario and Canada to ensure that they are completed on time and within budget.Prepare and review budgets, work plans/proposals, reports and invoices to meet company requirements and to the satisfaction of the client.Perform other areas of project-related financial management.Build leadership and mentorship skills by working with and mentoring junior staff.Communicate with Clients and understand their project requirements.Maintain existing client relationships and identify opportunities for new business relationships.Participate in business development initiatives to build new client relationships and maintain existing ones.What You Bring To The Pinchin TeamA Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering, Geology or related Science.Licensed Professional in Ontario in a respective discipline (P.Eng., P.Geo., P.Ag., etc.) is required, or an ability to obtain the License within one year from the employment.A minimum of 10-15 years of environmental consulting experience with significant portion as a project manager for environmental site assessments, remediation technology evaluation, remediation scope development and detailed specifications, and remediation costingA good knowledge of how risk assessments and remediation are complementary.Exposure to a variety of remediation technologies, implementation, operation, maintenance and monitoring of the remediation treatment systems ideal.Strong working knowledge of Ontario Regulation 153/04, and other applicable environmental regulations in Ontario (at a minimum) and across Canada (an asset)Ability to manage multiple long and short-term projects.Proven experience with complicated spill response, site assessment and remediation projects, as well as knowledge/experience with key contractors performing this work across Ontario.Proven ability to develop our existing client base and recognize new market opportunities.Proven proficiency in invoicing, budgeting, and other areas of project related financial management.Valid driver’s licence and insurance are required (work related travel expenses will be compensated).Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).What Pinchin Offers YouA challenging, rewarding leadership position with the opportunity to mentor junior technical professionals.Competitive compensation, benefits, and Extended group benefits (we pay the premium) with no waiting period.Casual dress codeProfit share bonuses and an RRSP Matching Program.An environment that supports work-life harmonization.Various professional development and employee recognition programs.Educational and professional membership dues reimbursement.Employee Referral Bonus Program.Corporate Discount Program.What’s next?
