They are seeking a Data Engineer to join their technical team here in Canada to help provide support on a significant modernization project, as they work to rebuild and migrate their existing data warehouse to a new Microsoft Dynamics cloud-based solution.What You'll do: Translate business requirements into technical data related solutions.Support the planning and implementation of data design services, providing sizing and configuration assistance and performing needs assessments with focus on leveraging Microsoft Azure Data & Analytics Services.Delivery of architectures related to the transformation and modernization of enterprise data solutions using Azure cloud data technologies.Design and Build Modern Data Pipelines and Data Streams.Design and Build Data Service APIs.Develop Logic App streams to insert data into MS Dynamics FinOpsDevelop and maintain data warehouse schematics, layouts, architectures, and relational/non-relational databases for data access.Build and implement effective metrics and monitoring processes.Part of the data supply chain to ensure that stakeholders can access and manipulate data for routine and ad hoc analysis.What You'll need: At least 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer, with expertise supporting data migration / modernization projects.Expertise with Azure cloud & Services, such as Azure Logic App, Azure Data Lakes, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Blob Storage, Azure SQL DB, etc.,.Experience designing and building Data Pipelines and data streams.Expertise with Data warehouses, databases tuning, optimization and support activities.Advanced knowledge in Power BI.Nice to Have:Experience with Dynamics Finance & Operations.Familiarity with Cognos.Knowledge of Grafana.If you are interested in learning more, or if you would like to discuss any other Data related roles, don't hesitate to apply today
