CLASSIFICATION: PHARMACIST DEPARTMENT: PHARMACYPOSITION LOCATION: OWEN SOUND UNION AFFILIATION: OPSEU – HPD STATUS: FULL-TIME, TEMPORARY (APPROX. END DATE OCTOBER 2027) REASON TO POST: DIRECT REPLACEMENT WAGE RATE: $48.21 - $64.50Reporting to the Director of Pharmacy, Pharmacists are responsible for drug distribution and clinical activities for all patients at all Brightshores affiliated sites. This includes monitoring patient drug therapy and providing drug education to patients and other health care providers. The pharmacist reviews all physicians’ orders screening for drug interactions, therapeutic duplicates, dose range checking, therapeutic appropriateness and any other pharmacy related concerns.
