Job Description We are looking for an experienced lawyer with a minimum of 3 years Post-Qualification Experience (PQE) to join our Family Department. The successful candidate will be used to managing a diverse caseload independently, demonstrating exceptional legal acumen and the ability to work without supervision. About the Role As a Family Lawyer, you will play a crucial role in providing expert legal services to clients while ensuring a profitable contribution to the department. You will be responsible for handling a range of family law matters, supervising colleagues, and supporting the firm’s business development initiatives. Key Responsibilities Conduct legal matters on behalf of clients with professionalism and efficiency. Supervise and support fee-earning work undertaken by colleagues. Manage support services effectively, including overseeing your own secretary. Participate in firmwide and departmental marketing initiatives. Maintain financial control, ensuring cashflow management through efficient billing and collection of monies on account. About You The ideal candidate will have: A strong background in family law with proven experience as a fee earner. Excellent client management and communication skills. The ability to work independently while also contributing to team success. Strong organisational and financial management skills.
