We’re looking for a skilled, reliable Mechanic / Shop Technician who takes pride in clean work, problem‑solving, and doing things the right way. This is a key role supporting both our Construction and Maintenance divisions. If you enjoy working on a variety of equipment, value a well‑run shop, and want steady, year‑round work with a growing company, you’ll fit in well here. What You’ll Be Working On Diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining: Trucks & trailers Skid steers and light equipment Small engines & landscaping equipment Performing regular inspections and preventive maintenance Tracking parts, inventory, and repair records Keeping the shop organized, clean, and safe Supporting field teams with quick turnaround on repairs Occasional welding or light fabrication tasks (optional) What We’re Looking For Valid driver’s license (required) Experience with automotive, diesel, or small‑engine repair Ability to troubleshoot issues and work independently Reliable, organized, and safety‑focused Takes ownership of work and values a clean, organized shop Welding or fabrication experience is an asset Fleet or landscaping equipment experience is an asset Basic personal tool set; specialty and shop tools are provided Schedule & Stability Predictable, full‑time schedule Year‑round work (no seasonal layoffs) Overtime available when needed, not constant or forced What We Offer Competitive pay, based on experience Health & dental insurance Company events and team gatherings Supportive management with clear expectations About NWPM North Western Property Maintenance Inc. is a leading landscape construction and maintenance company based in Surrey, BC.
