The Radiological Technologist works in a computerized environment, producing diagnostic radiographs as assigned and carrying out diagnostic procedures either independently or in collaboration with a radiologist or other physician; applies radiation safety principles and practices to protect patients, staff, and the general public; and completes required documentation and administrative tasks. QUALIFICATIONS Education, Training and Experience Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) certification as a Medical Radiation Technologist. Graduation from an approved radiology technology program. Eligible for membership in the CAMRT. Skills And Abilities Ability to organize and prioritize work. Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships. Physical ability to meet the requirements of the job. Ability to operate related equipment, such as a computer.
