Overview Join to apply for the Family Physician - Private Clinic role at Interior Health Authority in Trail, BC. This is your chance to join an established group practice in Trail, with the opportunity to design the practice you want, steps from world-class outdoor recreation and big-city amenities. Columbia Primary Care is a collegial group of six Primary Care Providers sharing a spacious clinic in downtown Trail. The practice offers a mix of patients, and the clinic providers support each other in taking up to 8 weeks off per year for holidays and CPD. The office offers a friendly and efficient environment with support from our experienced MOAs and Registered Nurse, and in-clinic access to Primary Care Network resources including Social Worker and Primary Care RN. There is additional access to regional PCN resources including a Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist, Clinical Pharmacist, Respiratory Therapist, Registered Dietitian, and Aboriginal Health Coordinator. We currently use Med Access as our EMR and provide a mix of in-person and virtual care. The clinic layout boasts a welcoming waiting room and a minor operating room (OR), and each Primary Care Provider has an office/exam room with a view of the Columbia River and a well-equipped second exam room. The clinic has GP subspecialty practices including Dermatology, Diabetes, and Pain Management. It is also a teaching practice for third year medical students and family practice residents. Further specialty support, available at the nearby Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital, includes Anesthesia, General Surgery, Orthopaedics, Internal Medicine, ICU, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Plastics, Urology, Pathology, and Ophthalmology. Compensation and contracts Lucrative New-to-Practice Salaried contracts are available (up to full-time) to physicians who don\'t have an established patient panel in BC. Care for up to 800 patients under a 2-year salaried contract with generous recruitment incentives for new grads (Additional $25,000 sign-in bonus and up to $130,000 in debt repayment – including private loans and line of credits).
