Senior IT Developer at TD Securities Work Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada Hours: 37.5 Line Of Business: Technology Solutions Pay Details: $81,600 - $115,200 CAD Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in technology programs Minimum of 3-5 years of strong hands‑on developer experience Strong full‑stack (Java primarily) developer background with experience building large‑scale enterprise applications Experience building REST APIs, micro‑services, Spring, container solutions Excellent database knowledge and hands‑on experience managing large RDBMS, LDAP, NoSQL Experience working with industry‑leading COTS solutions such as Ping Federate, Access Management, ThreatMetrix, Biocatch, etc., and integrating with enterprise capabilities Strong experience deploying containerized solutions using AKS in Azure or similar cloud infrastructure In‑depth knowledge of GitHub Actions for CI/CD Design and build highly resilient, fault‑tolerant, high‑throughput application ecosystems Real‑world implementation experience in event streaming using Kafka Strong understanding of Azure public cloud design and implementation Experience with vulnerability scanning tools (Veracode, Sonar, etc.) Experience with log management tools such as Splunk, DataDog, Dynatrace Leadership of high‑performance professionals at various capacities (junior to senior) Engagement in professional development and mentoring of junior developers and BSA Hands‑on participation when necessary Active player in PoC and solution‑design thinking Strong technical leadership and championing Azure adoption Lead and embrace Agile work culture Participation in all aspects of application development lifecycle: PoC, ideation, design, build, test, ongoing operation Embrace DevOps culture including CI/CD, Jenkins, test automation Learning mindset to take tasks as opportunities to learn and share knowledge Ownership culture to drive meaningful change aligned with enterprise product vision Mentor entry‑level developers within and outside the team Why TD?
