De Havilland Aircraft is seeking a skilled Flight Test Engineer to oversee testing operations. Reporting to the Flight Testing Manager, you will develop test plans, create documentation, and ensure safety compliance. With over 15 years of experience in flight testing for commercial aircraft, you will leverage your expertise in aircraft systems and data acquisition to excel in this role.
Key Responsibilities: • Create flight test schedules and related documentation • Collaborate with stakeholders on test strategies • Operate test equipment during flight testing • Adhere to safety regulations and risk management tools • Provide oversight on test aircraft configurations
Requirements: • Bachelor's or Master's in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering • 15+ years of commercial flight test experience • Familiarity with flight test practices and certification • Strong MS Office Suite skills • Effective communication and planning abilities
