We’d love to have you.Job DescriptionThe Transportation Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating the transportation team members (AZ, DZ, Yard Drivers). They are responsible for effectively and efficiently handling customer service complaints and concerns. They are also to be an active participant in the training and coaching of team members with their job duties, responsibilities, and safety.Schedule: Monday to Friday 6:00PM - 2:30AMResponsibilities and DutiesLeadershipParticipate in the recruitment of new transportation team membersAttend and participate in Leadership and Development training sessionsAssist with the coordination of safety, team and other meetingsSupervise and lead the delivery and service team in the absence of the Transportation ManagerCreate training plans and assist in the training of team membersResolve driver concerns in Transportation Manager’s absenceKeep the Transportation Manager informed when team members are not meeting expectationsFollow the progressive discipline process according to company policyAssist with the annual performance appraisal processMake compensation recommendations to Transportation ManagerEnsure a safe and positive work environment in compliance with OHSA, company standards, local, provincial, and federal requirements, as well as ensuring there is an overall positive morale and respect among team membersAct as a role model for following all company policies and procedures, including uniform and PPE requirementsReporting and BudgetingAssist with all departmentally generated reportsContribute to development of the annual department budget preparation for SCC Management’s review and approvalAccurately complete all necessary paperworkRouting, Scheduling, Hours of Service and MaintenanceWeekly schedule driver routes and re-routing as necessary to ensure route coverageConduct route analysis and recommend saving opportunities to ManagerMonitor driver hours of service via onboard systemConduct route observations to ensure Drivers are safely performing their duties as required by company and MTO standardsMaintain driver qualification fileSchedule truck maintenance and maintain fleet imageConduct accident investigationsCoordinate deliveries and backhauls activitiesAssist the Transportation Manager with truck leasing meetings to ensure PMs are met to Domino’s standard and repairs are completed in a timely mannerPerform other duties as assigned by leadershipMonitor driver’s performance and hold them accountable when performance is below expectations, using coaching and/or progressive discipline as neededComplete driver’s annual performance reviewsReview driver’s lytx and logs and coach according to companyCollaborate in driver onboarding and trainingCustomer ServiceAssist in answering Slice of Pie complaintsMaintain positive customer relationshipsReview Customer SurveysPhysical RequirementsAble to sit for long periods of time, working in an office environment using typical office equipment including frequent typingMay be required to reach with hands and arms regularly, occasionally stand and walk, occasionally lift up to 50 pounds, and rarely lift up to 75 poundsAble to perform heavy pushing/pulling of productAble to work in refrigerated conditions or extreme temperatures as well as work in an environment with exposure to loud machinery and vibration, both indoors and outdoorsAble to work around yeast and flourAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.At Domino's, we are a brand of honesty, transparency and accountability and we want exceptional people like you to join our team We have continued to prove we “Put our People First” by making sure our work environment is safe and provides stability for you as a team member.
