Our mission is to deliver next-generation drone technologies that integrate cutting-edge sensors and RF systems for real-world operational impact.This role is central to our efforts in RF communications and mmWave radar integration, where you’ll help design, prototype, and deploy sensor-driven solutions that power our drone detection and tracking capabilities. You’ll work hands-on with radars, RF communication devices, as well as other sensors and data pipelines. Collaborating closely with flight control engineers to format and transmit data, to build a complete system.About the RoleAs our RF & Communications Engineer, you will:Work primarily on RF device integration and mmWave radar systems, including chirp generation, point cloud processing, and sensor fusion.Also assist with communication protocols such as UART, TCP/IP, and MAVLink, ensuring seamless data transfer between onboard and ground systems.Integrate third-party sensors (e.g., GPS almanac, radar detection systems, external sensors) into drone platforms.Build and optimize data pipelines for real-time radar and sensor processing.Work with embedded Linux systems and deploy your RF solutions onto embedded platforms.Collaborate closely with our flight control and software teams to enable robust drone detection and communication systems.Manage version control using Git.This position is ideal for someone who is both a communications and RF wizard — comfortable building pipelines, working directly with hardware, and bridging software with real-world signals.Required Qualifications5+ years of professional experience with any project that uses or integrates RF devices or sensors.5+ years programming experience with Python.Strong experience with mmWave radar systems is preferredProficient in Linux command line and shell scripting.Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, IT, or related field.Bonus SkillsFamiliarity with ArduPilot and MAVLink protocol.Hands-on drone operation or testing experience.AI / ML modelling in the scope of data processing, or computer visionWhy Join Us?Work on cutting-edge drone systems that directly impact defense and security operations.Be part of a fast-moving, well-funded company in an emerging defense technology sector.Collaborate in a small, high-impact team where your contributions shape the final product.Gain unique, hands-on experience integrating sensors, radars, and communication systems into operational drone platforms. #J-18808-Ljbffr
