Description(Internal Title : Scheduling IV)Responsible for implementing and managing the standard goals policies etc. for the project or programSchedule the planning development and maintenance of the project Master schedule to meet the project objectives and schedule basisDevelop analyze and manage the progress measurement earned value performance data schedule reporting schedule change implementation and develop and maintain the schedule management planPrepare and entrench scheduling and planning procedures and work instructions for the contractors and project teamFormulate and maintain the basis of schedule for each baseline and the baseline curves including progress and manpower generate all progress curves including planned actual and forecastedLiaise with risk to develop a summary schedule suitable for quantitative schedule risk analysis interpret the Monte Carlo risk analysis process and contribute to the risk mitigation planGenerate and verify monthly updates issue progress reports progress schedules and dashboards monitor slippages and critical and near critical activitiesProvide schedule input to the procurement bid process including reporting requirements and milestone dates. Conduct bid evaluation and ongoing management of consultants vendors and contractorsMaintain and optimize the schedule through change management procedures monitor progress and resolve areas of potential concern. Review and assess schedule impacts due to changes or claimsAnalyze and monitor schedule variances floats trends and KPIsManage schedule changes and forecast project impact. Implement corrective action when performance trends deviate from the baselinePerform audits on various schedules including those produced by contractors and prepare all required output documentsReview project scope changes claims for schedule and cost impact and provide feedback to financial and contract management staffCreate and implement key scheduling requirements such as activity coding naming conventions client requirements management protocol project calendars and resource and plant data librariesReview the baseline schedule and assess the compliance of the schedule with the project agreement and best practicesConduct forensic analysis of project schedules produce recommendations for improvement and analyze schedule delays. Review and assess the extension of time claimsIdentify commercial and schedule risks and develop mitigation measures to ensure timely and high-quality planning and scheduling-related deliverablesActively participate in the mentoring and hiring process by interviewing and selecting the best-aligned staff for the company and team including the Project Planning and Scheduling teamDevelop the vision for the consulting services provided in scheduling for the project or program while delegating and managing deliverables with consulting team membersBuild and maintain a positive high-performing team culture with an openness to constructive challenge continuous improvement implementation of lessons learned and an overall right-first-time mindsetClarify acceptable standards of workmanship through every stage of the workCreate a high-performing culture open to constructive challenges and seeking continual improvementMonitor and manage scheduling staff performance (including non-Comtech resources on the project or program to ensure excellence in results. Ensure teams are clear and focused on performance objectivesPromote a project environment that is inclusive and diverse and celebrates our differencesComplete any tasks assigned by the Scheduling V or higher in an efficient and timely mannerWorking ConditionsOffice or Site-basedRequirementsExperience :Minimum of 12 years of Planning and Scheduling experience in large projects or programsEducation :Bachelors degree in a relevant fieldLicenses OR Certifications :Holding recognized certifications including PMP PMI-SP or PSPOracle Primavera P6 certificate is considered an assetSkills and Competencies :Strong understanding of prevailing Project Management and Scheduling methodsExtensive knowledge of tools and metrics needed to evaluate project performanceAdvanced skills in Microsoft Office applications including Excel and Power QueryProficient in Primavera P6Competent in Navisworks Synchro Power BI and TILOS is an assetExpert understanding of multi-discipline engineering and construction projectsInclined to maintain professional development to keep abreast of emerging technologies methods and best practicesAbility to arrange priorities and escalate competing risks to meet deadlines with minimum input from leadershipKeen eye for detail and adept problem-solving abilitiesMust have demonstrated experience relaying and receiving information (written and verbal)Expert ability to work collaboratively and independently in a structured disciplined technology-driven environmentProven capacity to anticipate identify and minimize risksExpert ability to detect and capitalize on others strengthsDemonstrated capability to supervise delegate and develop capacityEffectively leads multi-resource scheduling teamsAbility to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment by ensuring effective teamwork promotion of innovation and overall excellenceTact to perceive and ameliorate conflict and tensionRequired Experience :Senior ICKey SkillsPrimavera, Primavera P6, Transportation Planning, Smartsheet, Joint Operations, Production Planning, Project Management, Project Planning, Microsoft Project, Budgeting, Project Coordination, Technical SupportEmployment Type :Full-TimeExperience :yearsVacancy :1 #J-18808-Ljbffr
