About the RoleThe Financial Analyst, FP&A will work closely with our Finance Director and collaborate with the CEO at our Montreal Head Office. In this role, you will support the team by preparing and maintaining financial reports, assisting with budgeting and forecasting cycles, and completing analyses that help inform business decisions. This position is well-suited to an early-career candidate seeking to build strong FP&A fundamentals with coaching and oversight from senior finance leadership. You will gain exposure to financial modeling, business performance tracking, and cross-functional collaboration. You will also support initial research related to new markets and potential business opportunities by gathering data and summarizing findings. This is a full-time contractual position for a period of 13 months. Who You AreThe ideal candidate will be inherently self-motivated, a self-starter with a passion for analyzing data, developing and maintaining financial models (including sensitivity analysis), delivering market research and deal execution, and turning large data sets into meaningful, actionable information. The role will involve both financial and management accounting. The candidate will play a pivotal role in the forecasting process and month-end close, providing financial insights for strategic decision-making.
