Join to apply for the Service Technician role at NOV 1 day ago Be among the first 25 applicants Job Summary As a Service Technician the responsibilities are to complete spooling to Coil Tubing units in an accurate and timely manner within NOV CT/PP specification. Working in the Service Department may require a flexible work schedule including overtime and on call depending on the needs of the customers. Primary Responsibilities Loading and unloading of customer units. Setup and teardown of coil tubing spools and reels. Operate rigging equipment. Complete tasks within the specifications of NOV CT/PP Canada and the designated QA System. Complete all documentation associated with service work, parts used, time keeping. Maintain all safety standards. Health and Safety policies and Provincial regulations. Ensure that all safety and mechanical equipment being used is well maintained. All other assigned or associated tasks and duties to help meet or exceed the customer expectations and company goals. Learning other product groups outside of CT/PP, within facility, dependent on work flow requirements. Education & Experience High school education with the ability to read, write and speak a minimum amount of English to perform job duties In House training, but previous coil experience an asset Communication skills and a commitment to customer service. Standard First Aid and H2S Alive training preferred. Work is performed in a shop and yard environment. Possibility to be exposed to dust, fumes or gases and changes of temperature/humidity. Physical requirements: squatting, bending, reaching, twisting, lifting up to 23 kilograms, walking on rough ground, and working near moving equipment. Required to at all times wear proper protective clothing and equipment and perform duties in a safe manner HSE Requirements Shop environment, warehouse and working indoors/outdoors. Possibility to be exposed to dust, fumes, or gases and changes of temperature/humidity Possible physical requirements: squatting, bending, lifting, standing, sitting, walking, kneeling, reaching, twisting, crawling, climbing, ladder work, and working near moving equipment First Aid, forklift, overhead crane training is a beneficial to this role Required to wear steel toe boots, safety glasses or side shields, hard hat, and ear protection. Task pending face shield and/or ventilation mask required.
