Oak Bluff Early Years (OBEY) is a not-for-profit organization that has been offering childcare to the Oak Bluff community since 1990. In October 2023, we expanded our facility and have 74 infant & preschool spaces in our new location, offered to the families located in the RM of Macdonald. We also have 30 school age spaces available in our school age program located in the Oak Bluff Community school.
We strive to foster the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of all the children. We do this by offering a variety of play-based learning opportunities which recognizes and supports each child’s need to play, explore and interact in a positive way with elements in our environment.
We are currently seeking a dynamic and visionary leader to fill the role of the Executive Director at our Centre. This is a full-time, permanent position, reporting to the Centre’s board of directors, Early Learning and Child Care (ELCC) and the Childcare Coordinator, as assigned. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the operations, administrative and service delivery of all OBEY programs. This position will supervise two site leaders and 20+ staff located at both sites.
Our Infant & Preschool program is open Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 5:30pm and our school age program is open 7:30am to 5:30pm. We have recently implemented Circle of Security training for all staff which will remain ongoing with the successful candidate.
