Aircraft Mechanic (Heavy Maintenance) We are seeking a licensed Aircraft Mechanic to join our team, focusing on heavy maintenance for Challenger 300-600 and Global 5000 and 6000 aircraft. The role involves conducting panel removals, inspections, and mechanical modifications on landing gears, wings, and engines. You will be responsible for signing off on specific tasks and must provide your own toolbox. Responsibilities Remove and reinstall aircraft panels during maintenance. Conduct thorough inspections and mechanical modifications, including work on landing gears, wings, and engines. Sign off on completed maintenance tasks. Utilize online task cards for maintenance documentation. Essential Skills M2 license is required. Experience with heavy maintenance and interpreting mechanical plans. Work Environment The work environment includes a very clean, climate-controlled hangar. The workforce is multicultural and non-unionized, with a team size of 10-20 technicians, plus additional staff in sheet metal and avionics departments. The dress code requires clean work pants, safety steel-toe boots, and ideally an Aerotek t-shirt. Shifts are available during the day or evening. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Toronto, ON. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $50.00/hr.
