You've come to the right place Responsabilites Provide project team leadership by directing project execution activities and discipline deliverables for projects. Coordinate activities with other disciplines, Project management, and clients' resident representative. Produce engineering documents such as design reports, cost estimates and construction specifications, bid documents, bid evaluations, engineering directives, and other data, according to client specifications. Perform quality check for all design work to ensure to meet AR QA/QC requirements. Prepare the engineering manhour estimate and schedule. Provide technical assistance to the civil/structural superintendents and craft to ensure the best resolution for all parties for any technical issues arising in the field/plant. Perform the inspection in site/plant and provide problem resolution for structural engineering issue in site/plant. Qualifications BS or MS in Civil or Structural Engineering. 15 plus years of experience in civil/structural engineering with a minimum of 5 years' experience in the Aluminum industry. Registered as a professional engineer in Canada. Must have experience in design and analysis of structural concrete and structural steel. Familiarity with NBC, CISC, CSA, ACI, AISC, ASCE and IBC standards and codes. Bilingual Must be excellent written and verbal communication skills in both French and English.
