With a strong commitment to excellence, their small but dynamic team is dedicated to delivering high-quality products that empower their end users to optimize their operations.Position Overview:We are seeking a talented and experienced Lead QA Automation Engineer to join their growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the quality assurance process through automated testing strategies in Playwright (TypeScript), ensuring software that is reliable, efficient, and meets the high standards their clients expect.Key Responsibilities:Lead the development and implementation of automated testing frameworks and processes.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, implementation, and operations, to improve quality throughout the development lifecycle.Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing.Mentor and guide other QA team members in best practices for test automation.Analyze and report on testing outcomes and metrics to assess product quality.Continuously evaluate and improve QA processes and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in QA automation.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.5+ years of experience in software quality assurance and automation testing.Experience leading QA teams and projects.Proficiency in programming languages such as TypeScript.Strong familiarity with automation tools (e.g., Playwright).Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum).Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and collaboration skills.What We Offer:Flexible work environment with options for remote work or hybrid.A supportive and collaborative team culture.A fast growing company with a product that makes a difference in the oil and gas sector.*This position can be remote/hybrid within the Calgary area.*How to Apply: If you are passionate about quality assurance and want to make an impact within a vibrant team, we want to hear from you Please submit your resume only (no cover letter required).Seniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionQuality AssuranceIndustriesOil and Gas, Software Development, and Technology, Information and Media #J-18808-Ljbffr
