This posting is currently available internally to CUPE employees for 5 working days until 4:30 p.m. February 6th, 2024 as per the CUPE Local 5829 Collective Agreement. We are searching for a hard working, responsible custodian for a temporary replacement position at Morrin School. Our ideal candidate will be self-motivated and able to perform tasks independently. You will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing the school strictly adhering to Alberta Health Services guidelines. You must be able to perform routine physical tasks while standing and walking for long periods. Physical strength and stamina are an asset. Preference will be given to an applicant with knowledge of standard cleaning practices and procedures. This is a full time temporary position working 40 hours per week to start in and around March 1st, 2024 . Training will be provided in the use and maintenance of industrial cleaning equipment and the safe use of chemicals. Personal protective equipment will be provided. Competition will remain open until a suitable candidate is found. Thank you to all applicants, but only those who will be interviewed will be contacted. The successful candidate will be required to provide a Criminal Record Check and Child Intervention Check satisfactory to PLRD prior to commencement. Please quote competition number on application.
