Senior Loan Review AnalystLocation: Montreal, CanadaType: Full-Time, PermanentIndustry: Banking / Credit Risk About the Role: We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Loan Review Analyst to join our Risk team in Montreal. In this role, you will assess credit quality across a diverse loan portfolio, ensuring compliance with internal risk policies and regulatory standards. Reporting to the Head of Loan Review, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to review credit documentation, evaluate risk ratings, and present findings to senior stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Conduct in‑depth reviews of credit files, underwriting standards, and borrower documentation. Validate credit risk ratings and ensure alignment with regulatory classifications. Assess collateral adequacy and documentation accuracy in accordance with approvals. Summarize findings in formal reports and present recommendations to internal business lines and risk leaders. Support audit responses and participate in follow‑up action plans. Stay current on accounting standards and industry trends impacting credit analysis. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business. 8 -10 years of experience in banking or credit risk analysis (real estate, project finance, leveraged loans). Strong knowledge of credit risk frameworks and regulatory guidelines. Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Capital IQ. Fluent in English; French proficiency is a strong asset.
