This is a fast-paced, rewarding environment where your contributions will be recognized and celebrated.What You Will Be DoingRisk Assessment: Collaborate closely with clients and brokers to evaluate and underwrite complex commercial risks, diving into COPE details, operations, coverages, and documentation.Policy Development: Design smart, competitive policies. This includes renewals, endorsements, exclusions, and warranties. These policies will balance risk and opportunity.Pricing: Establish premiums that reflect market competitiveness and risk realities, across diverse lines of business.Client & Broker Interaction: Build and strengthen lasting relationships, becoming a trusted advisor while aligning underwriting practices with our portfolio strategy.Compliance & Collaboration: Partner with actuarial and claims teams to refine rates and terms, ensuring compliance while keeping our competitive edge sharp.What You Bring To The TeamMinimum 3+ years of commercial underwriting experience.General Insurance License Level 1 or 2 (or willingness to obtain within 90 days, on us).Post-secondary education and/or CIP designation are assets.Solid knowledge of commercial underwriting practices and market trends.Strong communicator, team player, and driven professional eager to grow.Ability to thrive under deadlines while managing multiple priorities.Confident working across all levels (brokers, clients, and colleagues).Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with strong analytical and organizational skills.How You Will SucceedYour success in the first year will come from:Proactively identifying risks and opportunities.Bringing innovative solutions to complex challenges.Communicating effectively with clients and internal partners.Building trust and strong relationships that fuel long-term success.How We Take Care Of Our EmployeesAt Millennium Insurance, you’ll be part of a company that’s not only performance-driven but also people-focused.
