As Legal Counsel for a number of businesses (BUs) you will be responsible for providing legal advice and assistance. Key stakeholders will be the

Head of Legal , with whom you will define priorities;

the Business Unit CEOs and Finance Leads , who will raise matters requiring support;

the Head of Legal , who will define the portfolio functional Legal practices and procedures, provide portfolio level resources, and will be the initial escalation point for

your team

who you will support to success.

Telecomms experience is a must

Main responsibility areas: Provide BU strategic and operational legal advice to the senior management on commercial matters. Draft, review, negotiate, and advise on complex and high-value commercial agreements with customers, suppliers, partners, and other stakeholders. Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and best practices in all commercial transactions and operations. Identify, assess, and mitigate legal risks and liabilities arising from commercial activities. Manage and resolve commercial disputes and litigation. Monitor and anticipate changes in the legal landscape and advise on their implications for the business. Liaise with external legal counsel and regulators, as required. Provide reports, assessments and participate in strategic planning with the Head of Legal. Contracts Commercial contract drafting and negotiation. Administration including record keeping, review and management process Escalating to and seeking approval from Head of Legal/Portfolio Legal (Contract Execution, New country approval, contract deviation) Reviewing and advising on legal terms related to RFP submissions Managing day-to-day legal advice and support Maintain legislative and regulatory updates relevant to geography and BU Group Providing quarterly reporting to Head of Legal Litigation Material Contracts IP Regulatory Compliance/non-compliance -

Enforcing Lumine Policies and procedures -

Developing BU specific policies and procedures that align with Lumine Enforcing Lumine discipline and good practice for BUs in respect of: compliance with Lumine ways (Contract Execution, New country approval, contract deviation) contracting and contract operations document and record management internal approvals processes Escalating issues with BU compliance with the foregoing and any corporate policies Anticipating and advising on legal risks involving each BU Managing litigation (if any) with governance from the Head of Legal Working with outside counsel for BU specific matters (subject to corporate approval). Managing general legal matters for BUs including ongoing filings, with governance from the Head of Legal.
