Senior Project Manager – Project Portfolio Management Bring your project management, creative problem solving, and team leadership expertise to this exciting role with our Project Portfolio Management team. The Senior Project Manager leads and directs all aspects of assigned projects and initiatives for designated programs/services throughout Northern Health (NH). The scope of work focuses on managing highly complex projects with many interdependencies and high levels of organizational transformation. The role involves planning and managing initiatives, coordinating multiple projects to attain overarching strategic goals, overseeing initiative resource expenditures, and ensuring outcomes are achieved. In the capacity of project manager, they ensure project deliverables are completed on time and on budget, as described in the project plan. The Senior Project Manager leads and coordinates project activities, including financial responsibility and resource management, to meet schedule and budget requirements for project deliverables. Establishes project teams and provides leadership, guidance, direction, and support to project staff, including other project managers, across direct report, matrix, and staff that are seconded to projects part‑time. Communicates with all levels of staff and management within the HSDA and/or across NH to facilitate decision making, consultation, negotiation, and information sharing. Liaises with consultants, vendors, and other healthcare entities to negotiate contracts for the provision of goods and services. The Senior Project Manager mentors and provides expertise to other NH Project Managers, promoting the use of project management best practices, methodologies, and standards, and providing guidance in the resolution of complex issues. Starting salary will be approximately from $106,026 to $132,533 and will be based on education, training, experience, and comparable salaries.
