Click on the link below to see what it’s like working for a diverse organization like Ledcor and apply today http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mdhNKGIZL4c Rates & Premiums: Will be provided a base hourly rate of $49/hour Mechanics who live and work in Whitecourt or Edson will be paid a skilled trade premium of $3/hour Mechanics who live and work in Grande Prairie, Beaverlodge and Valleyview will be paid a skilled trade premium of $3/hr Pension & RSP plans Work Conditions: Flexible schedules Work is based in your home shop, with occasional travel to field operations in your locale As LHL respond to changing weather conditions, some on call duties may be required Comprehensive benefits provided through CLAC, including Health, Dental, RSP and Pension Camp accommodations available in Edson only Essential Responsibilities: Perform maintenance and repair of plows/sanding trucks, loaders, light support gear and heavy construction equipment Perform CVIP inspections on trucks and trailers Attend service calls in the field as required Follows manufacturer and internal maintenance programs and inspection procedures Engages and participates in Ledcor safety policies and procedures Complete maintenance records and documentation as required Qualifications: Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician (On-Road & Off-Road) 3rd or 4th year registered Apprentice with on- road ticket. Experience with heavy civil construction, highway paving, or highway maintenance equipment (e.g., snowplows) is an asset CVIP mechanic license is an asset Must successfully pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing Valid Driver’s License with the ability to provide a 3-year driver’s abstract Strong ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions, including those with sketches and diagrams Proven ability to work effectively with minimal supervision Additional Information Ledcor builds and maintains infrastructure in various industries including oil and gas, transportation, and mining.
