Our in-house “Rio” framework powers modern user experiences, and we’re looking for a full-stack developer who can grow into an architecture role focused on cloud-native scalability.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and test Rio-based web applications and back-end services.Build containerised micro-services and deploy them to Kubernetes.Model data and write efficient SQL for relational databases.Contribute to design reviews, documentation, and demos.Explore and recommend new technologies (e.g., AI-enabled services) to improve our platform.Required Skills & Experience4–5 years of professional full-stack development.Solid understanding of object-oriented principles.Experience with cloud-native stacks: Docker and Kubernetes.Relational database design and strong SQL skills.Flexible, curious mindset—keen to experiment with emerging tech and architectures.Nice-to-HaveJava compilation/debugging insight (a Java background helps).Hands-on work with a major cloud provider (AWS preferred).Interest in progressing toward a cloud-native architecture role.What We OfferInfluence in technical decisions from day one.Clear growth path toward Solution / Cloud Architect.Flexible hybrid work environment (Calgary HQ or remote within Canada).Competitive salary and benefits package.How to ApplyEmail your résumé (PDF) and a brief cover note to careers@convergentis.com with the subject “Software Developer – Cloud Native”.You must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
