Our state‑of‑the‑art Emergency Department serves a wide variety of cases—from trauma to complex medical presentations. As BC’s only cardiac critical care centre outside of the Lower Mainland and Victoria, KGH offers advanced services such as open‑heart surgery, ECMO, coronary revascularisation, and endovascular thrombectomies. We are also a Level 2 Trauma Centre and a designated stroke referral centre with around‑the‑clock coverage. Our team values educators who help foster the next generation of physicians—and have fun doing it Position Details We are currently accepting applications for multiple permanent full‑time Emergency Medicine positions (start date: negotiable, ideally July 2026). A full‑time position consists of ~14 shifts/month (average ~8 hours/shift), with options to pick up additional shifts if desired. We are always accepting applications for locum positions from 2 weeks–12 months. Minimum shift requirement would be 6 shifts in a 2‑week locum or, if >4 weeks, 6 shifts/month.
