Position #: 101927 Union: HSAS Facility: St. Joseph's Health Centre City/Town: Ile-a-la-Crosse Department: Clinical Nutrition Type: Full-time regular FTE: 1 Hours of Work: 224 hours per 6 weeks Relief: No Float: No Field Hours: No Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band Dietitian - Degree Senior $39.064 to $47.768 Travel Required: Yes Job Description: Reporting to the Manager of Primary Health Care NW-N, this position offers a variety of experiences throughout SHA (Former Keewatin Yatthe RHA) including providing nutrition expertise to patients (clients, residents) throughout various SHA facilities and community settings to achieve nutrition and health outcomes. The dietitian is responsible for providing medical nutrition therapy through primarily individual outpatient counselling with a focus on chronic disease prevention and management. This position also provides services in acute care, long term care, and acts as a consultant in food services. The successful candidate will have the ability to function independently and as a member of an interprofessional team in a culturally sensitive manner.
