Position: Senior Law Clerk Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid) Salary: $75,000 - $85,000 Overview Our client is a well-established Canadian law firm seeking a Senior Law Clerk to support a busy practice group in a hybrid capacity. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, proactive professional who can manage complex files, handle competing deadlines, and work confidently with internal and external stakeholders. Why Join? Responsibilities Manage and maintain corporate records and minute books (physical and electronic). Prepare, review, and file corporate documentation (e.g., incorporations, amendments, amalgamations, dissolutions, reorganizations). Draft routine and complex legal documents, resolutions, and supporting schedules. Coordinate filings and registrations with applicable regulatory bodies and online portals. Conduct due diligence searches and assist with transactions (as required), including document compilation and closing support. Liaise with clients, opposing counsel, and government offices regarding corporate filings and related requests. Track deadlines, ensure compliance requirements are met, and maintain accurate file organization and documentation. Support lawyers with administrative and practice-related tasks to keep matters moving efficiently. Skills and Experience Experience: 5+ years (or equivalent) of progressive experience as a Corporate/Commercial Law Clerk (senior-level exposure preferred). Technical Skills: Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and corporate registry/filing systems. Organization: Highly detail-oriented with strong file management, prioritization, and deadline management skills. Communication: Clear, professional communication with confidence working across multiple stakeholders. Education: Law Clerk diploma or equivalent related education/experience.
